Winter / Spring News Jan 2021
Unfortunately, due to the current Covid situation, we are unable to make any plans for any dates for 2021 trials.
Autumn News Sept/Oct 2020
Unfortunately, the message to all our Club members is that SSTTC will not be holding any trials for the remainder of 2020. We will review the situation towards the end of the year. So sorry to disappoint you all, but in the interests of everyone’s safety we feel this is the correct decision.
Summer News July/August 2020
ISDS update as at July 24th
“Further reviews have taken place this week regarding the Society’s view of the trialling situation during COVID-19, and following Government advice and guidelines, taking into consideration the social gathering rules that apply for all of the four nations, and advice from our insurers, we are unfortunately still unable to provide authorisation of official trials to take place.
The safety of our members is paramount, and therefore the sanctioning of trials whilst the pandemic still continues, and with the increase in local lockdown a high probability in areas throughout the nations, it would be irresponsible of the Society to sanction trials and gatherings.
We continue to monitor this weekly and will provide updates accordingly, and we hope to have some positive news for you all soon.”
So unfortunately, the message to all our Club members is that until matters change SSTTC will not be able to run trials.
Spring News June 2020
What a start to Spring 2020! Everyone’s world has certainly been turned upside down these last few months. We hope you are all keeping well and staying safe in these troubled times. I’m sure you are all wondering when trialling will take place again, but at this point in time we do not have any information as to when this is going to be. We will update you once we have some clearer news.
With regard to SSTTC annual membership due in April, for those who have yet to renew, if you are able to make a bank payment or send through a cheque – that would be amazing.
Stay safe and keep well.

Nearly Finally In reference to our Security blip of 7th October where all members were unintentionally contacted with everyone else’s email address. So it has all been investigated as follows:
In addition we will be creating a separate email address for the Club that will still arrive on Caroline’s desk but will be part of a new profile on her computer with a different passcode that only refers to SSTTC business. All SSTTC information with be stored backed stick separately in a USB stick or on ICloud. We intend to use our website more frequently and these Newsletters will eventually appear on the site in addition to you receiving your own copy. Intending new members can then see how we operate.
So that we can keep our website up-to-date and interesting to new people, we invite you to send recent pics of members at Trials or Training Days to add to our Gallery. Can you help?
Initially send them to caroline at email@example.com
And finally Next Trial is Saturday 7th December at Rich and Tracey Stock’s venue Bellevue Farm, Nempnett Thrubwell. BS40 7XD.
